"Range" on an electric skateboard spec sheet is measured under conditions you will never ride in: a light rider, flat smooth tar, gentle throttle, warm battery. Real range is always lower, and how much lower depends on four things — your weight, your surface, your pace and the gradient.
As a working rule for South African riding: expect roughly 70–85% of the rated figure. A 65 km Spartan realistically returns 45–55 km for an 95 kg rider on mixed city tar at a normal pace. That is still further than almost anyone rides in a day, which is the point.
These are the boards where distance is the design goal rather than a side effect. The Spartan holds the fleet record at 65 km on a 720 Wh pack. The Relentless carries 648 Wh and 50 km while also being the most powerful board we sell. The Phantom manages 35 km on a 6.8 kg deck, which makes it the long-range option for anyone who has to carry their board at either end of the journey.
