One day of deals means rushed decisions, sold-out sizes and a courier backlog. A month gives you time to compare boards, ask us questions on WhatsApp and still get the sale price. The price on 3 November is the same as the price on 28 November, so there is no reason to panic-buy on the Friday itself.

The free riding gloves draw
Hands go down first when you fall, so this November we are giving away pairs of our full-finger riding gloves (sizes M, L, XL and XXL). Which board should you buy on sale?
Start with where you ride and what you weigh, not the discount. The figures below come from our spec sheets; top speeds are no-load figures, so real speeds with a rider are lower.
- Under R5,000, short trips, lighter riders: the Nova. It weighs 4 kg, carries up to 70 kg and tops out at 15 km/h, which makes it a sensible first board for a teenager or a campus hop.
- A first proper longboard: the Origins at R8,999. It is rated for 120 kg and beginner to intermediate riders.
- Light and quick for the city: the Phantom, 6.8 kg with dual drive and three speed modes, now R11,069.
